According to Jitin Prasada, Union Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology and Commerce and Industry, the production-linked incentive scheme for electronics manufacturing is performing well and has attracted a cumulative investment of Rs 102.13 billion as of December 2024. Under the special incentive scheme, a cumulative production of Rs 6.62 trillion and an additional employment of 137,189 (direct jobs) has been achieved.
