The Government of Kerala has inaugurated the Kodenchery-Kakkadampoyi stretch of Kerala Hill Highway Project. The Kodenchery-Kakkadampoyi stretch involves the construction of 34.76 km road at a cost of Rs 2,212 million.
The project, being implemented by the Public Works Development, Kerala, involves construction of 1,267 km long hill highway in Kerala, at a cost of Rs 35,000 million. It is being funded by the Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB).
