About 21 per cent of the construction work on the Bandra Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) under the Mumbai Sewage Disposal Stage II Project in Maharashtra has been completed. The work is likely to be completed by July 2027. The scope of work includes the construction of a 360 mld WWTF. Of this, 180 mld of wastewater will undergo tertiary treatment using membrane bioreactor technology, with operations and maintenance for 15 years.
