Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) handled 616,164 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) of containers in February 2025, marking a 9.14 per cent increase from February 2024. The port handled 6.63 million TEUs of containers during April-February period of FY 2024-25, an increase of 13.6 per cent as compared to the corresponding period of FY 2023-24.
JNPA handled 534 container rakes and 86,142 TEUs in February 2025, compared to 526 rakes and 84,350 TEUs in February 2024.
Overall, the port recorded cargo volume of 7.56 million tonnes, an year-on-year growth of 2.09 per cent.
