Raja Construction wins contract for implementation of Perambalur Combined Water Supply Scheme  in Tamil Nadu

Raja Construction Company has won a contract worth Rs 2,304 million for implementation of Perambalur Combined Water Supply Scheme in Tamil Nadu. Bids for the same were invited by the Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board in November 2024.

The scope of project includes providing water from the Kolli dam river to meet the water supply needs of Perambalur Municipality and Perambalur State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited (SIPCOT) industrial area located at Eraiyur and Padalaur in Perambalur District. It includes construction of collector well, infiltration well, sump cum pump sets, pumping mains and all other related works including six months trial run and five years operation and maintenance.

The work is likely to be completed in 18 months.

The project will be funded through a loan from Tamil Nadu Urban Finance and Infrastructure development Corporation Limited (TUFIDCO).
