Indian Railways inaugurated its first exclusive container rail terminal (ECRT) at Unjha railway station, under the Ahmedabad division of the Western Railway (WR) in Gujarat, on February 26, 2025.
The train transported a total of 100 containers, containing commodities such as cumin and several other spices, generating a revenue of Rs 0.92 million.
