The Government of West Bengal allocated funds worth Rs 20 billion for implementation of various road projects in budget 2025-26 on February 12, 2025. The allocations are: A total of Rs 5 billion has been allocated for implementation of four-lane bridge over river Ganga ar Gangasagar of total length of 4.75 km and Rs 15 billion has been allocated for Pathasree scheme which aims to provide rural connectivity in West Bengal.
