The topographical survey and soil testing is underway for Noida sector 142-Botanical Garden metro project and is likely to be completed by March 2025. Under the survey the latitudes and longitudes of tall buildings, markets and other areas are being studied in order to fix the alignment through which the metro will pass. Additionally, work on the project is likely to commence by May 2025.
The project involves development of a metro rail network connecting the corridor-2 (Janakpuri West-Botanical Garden) of Delhi metro-phase III through Botanical Garden metro station to Sector 142 in Noida covering a distance of 11.56 km at an estimated cost of Rs 22.54 billion. A total of eight stations are planned under the project namely, Botanical Garden, Noida Sector 44, Noida Office, Noida Sector 97, Noida Sector 105, Noida Sector 108, Noida Sector 93, Panchsheel Balak Inter College End to Noida Sector 142.
