Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) is planning to set up shipbuilding facility adjacent to Cochin Port. With an estimated investment of Rs 20 billion, CSL is looking forward to collaborate with foreign players for this project.
Meanwhile, the Cochin Port Authority plans to monetise approximately 150 acres of high-value land to establish port-led industries, aiming to attract incremental cargo and boost port operations.
