The Government of Kerala has allocated funds worth Rs 49.6 million for the Sabarimala (Dharmasastha) Greenfield Airport project under the state budget 2025-26.
The Sabarimala Greenfield Airport project involves the development of a greenfield airport at Sabarimala in Kerala on a public-private partnership (PPP) mode. It will include world-class aviation infrastructure such as terminal building, runways, taxiways etc. and will consist of various landside and airside aviation facilities.
