TP Solar Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, has inaugurated its 4.3 GW solar cell and module manufacturing facility in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu.
The facility, India’s largest single-location solar manufacturing plant, is equipped with advanced tunnel oxide passivated contact (TOPCon) and monocrystalline passivated emitter and rear contact (mono PERC) technologies.
The plant will manufacture high-efficiency solar cells and modules to meet the country’s growing renewable energy demand.
