The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has completed the airspace design and flight procedures for the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport in Maharashtra and the Noida International Airport in Uttar Pradesh.
The procedures are designed to optimise flight efficiency, reduce emissions, track miles and flight times for flights through the Delhi-Mumbai air corridors. It had collaborated with Boeing India that provided comprehensive simulation and conflict analysis. The total airspace and airport modeller (TAAM) was used to enhance the development and validation of the instrument flight procedures.
Both the airports are likely to be inaugurated in April 2025.
