NHAI plans construction of Kilambakkam-Mahindra City Elevated Corridor Project in Tamil Nadu

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has planned the construction of the Kilambakkam-Mahindra City Elevated Corridor Project on Chennai’s Grand Southern Trunk (GST) road.

The project involves construction of 18.4 km long elevated road stretching from Kilambakkam to Mahindra City on Chennai’s GST Road. This new corridor would run parallel to the existing six-lane National Highway and will include entry/ exit ramps at three critical locations namely, Iyyancherry junction, Kattankulathur, and the Chennai Peripheral Ring Road (CPRR) crossing. These ramps are strategically planned to facilitate smoother traffic flow and ease congestion.
