The trial run for the Navalur 24×7 Water Supply Scheme (WSS) has commenced in Ward No. 24 of the Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) in Karnataka. Operations are likely to begin by the end of January 2025 or early February 2025. The project will provide 24×7 water supply to about 7,000 residents across 616 households in the region. It has been implemented by HDMC and the Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development and Finance Corporation under the Karnataka Urban Water Supply Modernisation Project.
