HUDCO approves Rs 270 billion loan for Bengaluru Peripheral Road Project

Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) has sanctioned a Rs 270 billion loan for the Bengaluru Development Authority (BDA) to expedite the Bangalore Business Corridor project. The project is slated to commence within two months, following the finalisation of agreements between two implementing agencies. Of the approved amount, Rs 210 billion is earmarked for land acquisition, while Rs 60 billion will fund road construction. Land acquisition has already begun, and the BDA is targeting project completion within three years.
