1,390 projects get initiated under AMRUT as of December 2024

As of December 12, 2024, 1,390 projects worth Rs 432.42 billion have been initiated under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT). Of these, works worth Rs 411.34 billion have been physically completed.  Additionally, nine waterbodies have been taken up for rejuvenation and seven rainwater harvesting projects have been undertaken by states to promote water conservation. Under AMRUT 2.0, 3,596 water supply projects worth Rs 1,140.74 billion and 3,078 waterbody rejuvenation projects worth Rs 61.59 billion have been approved by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs as of December 12, 2024.
