South Eastern Railway has completed doubling works of the 100 km long section between Hatia and Kanaroan of the Ranchi (Hatia)-Bondamunda Rail Line Doubling Project.
The project involves doubling of 158.5 km long Ranchi (Hatia)-Bondamunda railway line in Jharkhand, Odisha at a cost of Rs 30.29 billion. It will augment the line capacity of the section and serve freight traffic needs of the upcoming super thermal power plant at Barch and other thermal power plants like Katni and Baruni.
