Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has requested funds worth Rs 9.5 billion from the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) for the Tughlakabad-Kalindi Kunj metro project.
The project aims to provide connectivity between the Indira Gandhi International Airport with the upcoming Noida (Jewar) International Airport and is likely to be completed by 2028.
This project involves a 5 km extension of the Aerocity-Tughlakabad corridor to Kalindi Kunj with two stations at Sarita Vihar and Madanpur Khadar.
