The Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) has conducted a safety inspection on the 9.32-km long Sandalpur-Sithouli rail section of the Mathura-Jhansi Third Line Project.
The project involves laying of a third line along the existing 273.8 km long rail line between Mathura and Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh with an investment of Rs 43.77 billion. The project was sanctioned in the Railway Budget 2015-16.
