The Telangana government has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Sun Petrochemicals to develop green power projects with an investment of Rs 455 billion.
The initiative will focus on three pumped storage hydropower projects in Nagarkurnool, Mancherial, and Mulugu districts, with a combined capacity of 3,400 MW. These projects will be complemented by integrated downstream solar power plants with a capacity of 5,440 MW.
