Northbound bridge connecting Bandra-Worli Sea Link with Mumbai Coastal road in Maharashtra gets inaugurated

The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) has inaugurated the northbound bridge connecting the Bandra-Worli Sea Link (BWSL) to the Mumbai Coastal Road Project (MCRP) on January 26, 2025.

Additionally, three interchanges that will connect vehicles traveling to Lotus Junction, Lower Parel, Worli, and Prabhadevi were also inaugurated.

The coastal road project involves construction of a 29.2 km (10.58 km in Phase I) long eight-lane coastal road which will run parallel to the existing stretch going from Nariman Point to Kandivali in Maharashtra at an investment of Rs 130.6 billion. MCGM is implementing the project on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) mode.
