Adani Hazira Port has revised its operational timelines in order to improve vessel turnaround time. The free time allowed for vessels before the commencement of cargo operations has been reduced from three hours to two hours from the all-fast time. All-fast means that the vessel is safely secured to the berth and the vessel gangway is in place, if it is to be used. Similarly, vessels should now be ready to sail within two hours after the completion of cargo operations.
Berth idling charges will be applicable if a vessel fails to commence cargo operations within two hours of the all-fast time or if it fails to file an outward pilot request within two hours of completing cargo operations.
These changes will apply to all vessel types calling at Adani Hazira Port Limited starting February 1, 2025.
