LC Infra Projects Private Limited has won a contract worth Rs 4,263.95 million for the augmentation and extension of the underground sewerage scheme (UGSS) in Ichalkaranji under the Maharashtra Suvarna Jayanti Nagarotthan Maha-Abhiyan. Bids for the same were invited by the Ichalkaranji Municipal Corporation in August 2024.
The scope of work includes a working survey, collection system for Zone I, II and III, road restoration and utility shifting, sewage pumping station, raw water rising main, 19.5 million litres per day (mld) and 13 mld sewage treatment plants, ozone disinfection and other related infrastructure.
The work is likely to be completed in two years.
