The National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has completed its first 40-meter long full span pre-stressed concrete (PSC) box girder under the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (HSR)b Corridor Project. It is cast as a single piece without construction joints, involving 390 cubic meters of concrete and 42 metric tonnes of steel.
The project involves the development of a 508.17 km long Mumbai-Ahmedabad HSR corridor in Maharashtra and Gujarat with an investment of Rs 1,080 billion.
