Mumbai Coastal Road’s Northbound Bridge to Bandra-Worli Sea Link gets inaugurated 

The government of Maharashtra has inaugurated the northbound bridge connecting the Mumbai Coastal Road to the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, marking a significant milestone for the Mumbai Coastal Road Project worth Rs 139.83 billion.

With 94 per cent of the project completed, the remaining Prabhadevi Connector is set to open by February 2025. Additionally, three interchange arms, two at Worli to Bandra and Marine Drive and one at Haji Ali,are yet to be operational.

The project will create nearly 70 hectares of green space featuring public parks, jogging tracks, cycle paths, and open auditoriums to enhance quality of life. A sea protection wall is also being built to safeguard the infrastructure from erosion and high waves. This transformative project aims to improve connectivity and provide new recreational spaces for the residents of Mumbai.
