Indian Railways conducted a trial run of the Vande Bharat Express train on the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra (SVDK)-Srinagar route on January 25, 2024. The train will pass through the Anji Khad and Chenab bridges, which are part of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla railway link.
The commercial operations are expected to start from February 2025.
