Mumbai Airport receives ACI Level 5 accreditation for airport customer experience 

The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) in Mumbai has become the first airport in India and the third in the world to achieve the Airports Council International (ACI) Level 5 accreditation for exemplary customer experience standards. The milestone reinforces the airport’s position as a global leader in airport operations.

The airport has been committed to improve passenger experience through various initiatives. These include the use of design thinking methodologies for the development of digital-first initiatives and the Aviio app. The airport also has the highest number of e-gates in the country at 68 which was increased from the earlier 24.
