G R Infraprojects Limited has commenced work for package C-02 under Nagpur metro rail project phase-II.
Package C-02 involves design and construction of elevated metro viaduct of length 17.62 km between [(Ch) 21256.814 to 38881.7] including railway spans of length 70 metres and 100 metres and six-lane double-decker road bridge/ flyover of length 1.03 km on National Highway on integrated piers between [(Ch) 22873.8 to 23900.777] in Reach-1A. The package was awarded in October 2024.
The project involves expansion of the metro network in Nagpur, Maharashtra by 43.8 km as phase II to provide connectivity to nearby towns and villages at an estimated cost of Rs 67.08 billion.
