Titagarh Rail Systems Limited rolls out first driverless trainset for RV Road-Bommasandra stretch under Bengaluru metro project phase-II 

Titagarh Rail Systems Limited rolled out the first driverless trainset for the RV Road-Bommasandra stretch under the Bengaluru metro rail project phase-II on January 6, 2025. The stainless steel train is equipped with advanced automation and cutting-edge performance features.

Besides, the subsequent trainsets are likely to be delivered by April 2025 and September 2025.

The project involves construction of four extensions and two new lines covering a length of 72.09 km (13.79 km underground and 58.3 km elevated) in Bengaluru, Karnataka at an investment of Rs 306.95 billion.
