Rahul Arora is an industry veteran with over 25 years of global experience in the information and communications technology, telecom and enterprise sectors. He has a proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar businesses and driving sustainable growth across various phases of his career. Arora has been associated with companies such as Nokia Networks, Wipro and Tech Mahindra.
In his current role as business leader, telecom and technology, at Orion Innovation, Arora manages accounts for global telecom network equipment providers and cloud solution providers/communications service providers (CSPs). His key objectives include achieving consistent quarter-on-quarter growth and securing high-value contracts that contribute to the company’s success. He is also responsible for implementing Global Delivery Center delivery-led sales strategies and driving innovative initiatives leveraging generative artificial intelligence, internet of things (IoT), cloud and enterprise solutions.
According to him, the adoption of 5G, edge computing and AI-driven automation has increased in the telecom/technology sector. “We are seeing a significant push towards private networks and data centre services, emphasising tailored solutions, sustainability and enhanced cloud integration for seamless connectivity and enterprise applications.” Further, CSPs are shifting their focus from infrastructure to platform-based models, leveraging application programming interfaces to monetise network capabilities, foster developer ecosystems and deliver customised digital services.
Arora considers his close collaboration with Orion’s global teams to deliver impactful solutions as the most rewarding aspect of his role. He shares, “I have been fortunate to leverage my enterprise experience across diverse industry verticals to develop telecom applications that ensure reliable connectivity, enable edge computing and provide scalable network services, supporting advancements in cloud technologies, industrial IoT and real-time analytics.”
