Deendayal Port Authority (DPA) achieved an all-time high record by handling 354 vessels in December 2024. The port has surpassed its previous record of handling 327 vessels in October 2024. Besides, the port recorded a remarkable 13.03 million metric tonnes (mmt) of cargo, breaking its earlier record of handling 12.90 mmt of cargo in March 2024.
Also, the port exported 3,586,709 tonnes of cargo in December 2024, surpassing the earlier record of 3,348,891 tonnes exported in April 2022.
