Government of Telangana is planning two new corridors under the Hyderabad metro rail project phase II. The corridors are Paradise-Medchal (23 kms) and Jubilee Bus Station (JBS)-Shameerpet (22 km).
Besides, the state government has also directed officials to prepare detailed project reports (DPRs) for the new corridors. DPRs are likely to be completed by March 2025.
The Paradise-Medchal corridor will connect areas such as Tadband, Bowenpally, Suchitra Circle, Kompally, and Kandlakoya, culminating near the outer ring road exit whereas the JBS-Shameerpet route will connect localities like Tirumalagiri, Lothukunta, Alwal, Bollaram, and Hakimpet.
