The Government of Tamil Nadu laid the foundation stone for the development of the underground sewerage scheme in Hosur city of Krishnagiri district in Tamil Nadu.
The project will be implemented in two phases. This phase is being carried out on a design, build, operate and transfer (DBOT) basis at an estimated cost of Rs 5,825.4 million. The remaining wards will be covered under the second phase.
