Rail Vikas Nigam Limited has completed the construction work on the Pamban New Railway Bridge Project.
The project involved construction of a new 2.05 km long bridge near Pamban bridge in Tamil Nadu in lieu of the existing scherzer rolling lifting bridge on the Mandapam-Pamban rail line at an investment of Rs 5.6 billion. It will be a vertical leaf type bridge.
