Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited has signed a contract with Bharat Electronics Limited to supply indigenously manufactured platform screen doors under the Bhopal metro rail project phase-I and Indore metro rail project phase I.
The Bhopal metro project involves development of a metro rail transit system in Madhya Pradesh comprising two corridors of total length of 27.87 km at an estimated cost of Rs 69.4 billion.
The Indore metro project involves development of a metro rail transit system comprising ring line of length 31.55 km at an estimated cost of Rs 75 billion.
