Titagarh Rail Systems Limited is likely to deliver the first driverless trainset for RV Road-Bommasandra stretch under the Bengaluru metro rail project phase-II by early 2025. Titagarh will also ramp up production to two train sets per month shortly after delivering first train set.
The project involves construction of four extensions and two new lines covering a length of 72.09 km (13.79 km underground and 58.3 km elevated), in Karnataka at an investment of Rs 306.95 billion.
