The government of Telangana is planning to develop the Machilipatnam Port- Hyderabad Dry Port Greenfield Expressway Project (port connectivity).
Besides, the state government has submitted proposals for the same to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and the National Highways Authority of India.
The project involves development of a greenfield express highway, connecting Machilipatnam (Bandar) port in Andhra Pradesh to the dry port in Hyderabad district of Telangana at an estimated cost of Rs 170 billion.
