Sharda Construction wins contract for development of Nilanga UGDS project in Maharashtra

Sharda Construction and Corporation Limited has won a contract worth Rs 948.91 million for development of underground drainage scheme (UGDS) under Maharashtra Suvarn Jayanti Nagarotthan Mahaabhiyan.  Bids for the same were invited by the Nilanga Municipal Corporation in August 2024.

The scope of work includes construction of 5.367 km long reinforced cement concrete (RCC) network, 103.73 km long collection network of structured wall piping system, sewage pumping station (SPS), sewage pumping machinery, rising main from SPS to sewage treatment plant inlet chamber, recycle and reuse of treated water sump, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) automation and related infrastructure including trial run.

The work is likely to be completed in two years.
