M/s Laxmi Constructions has won a contract worth Rs 1,647.45 million for development of Amalner water supply scheme (WSS) in Jalgaon under the Maharashtra Suvarn Jayanti Nagarotthan Mahaabhiyan. Bids for the same were invited by the Amalner Municipal Council in August 2024.
The scope of work includes a working survey, construction of intake well, jackwell, pump house, raw water rising main, 28 million litres per day (mld) water treatment plant (WTP), 211.52 km distribution network, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) automation and all other related works including trial run.
The work is likely to be completed in two years.
