Indian Railways has rolled out the first prototype of the Vande Bharat sleeper train for field trials by the Research Designs and Standards Organisation (RDSO) on the Khajuraho to Mahabo stretch.
Further, the prototype has been dispatched by the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai, where its quality inspection was being conducted for the past two months. The trainset has been manufactured by Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) in collaboration with ICF.
