The central government has approved the development of a 2,000 MW solar park in Rajasthan, with 30 per cent central financial assistance.
The project will be developed by the Rajasthan Solar Development Corporation. Rajasthan has an installed renewable energy capacity of 30.31 GW which includes solar power contributing 24.55 GW.
