The central government has approved nine major road projects worth Rs 300 billion, aiming to develop a 800 km road network across Rajasthan.
The key projects include the Rs 65 billion Northern Jaipur Ring Road (110 km), the Rs 68 billion Kotputli-Agra Greenfield Expressway, and the Rs 120 billion Jaipur-Kishangarh-Jodhpur-Amritsar Highway. The Kotputli-Agra Expressway is slated for completion by September 2024, while the detailed project report (DPR) for the Jaipur-Amritsar highway is under preparation.
