Air India recently announced its order for an additional 100 Airbus aircraft, comprising of 10 widebody A350 aircraft and 90 narrowbody A320 Family aircraft.
This order is in addition to the order for 40 A350 aircraft and 210 A320 Family aircraft placed with Airbus in 2023. With six A350-900 aircraft having already been delivered, the airline’s total orderbook with Airbus now stands at 344. The additional order is in line with the airline’s target to become a world-class airline and enhance connectivity.
Air India also announced selecting the Flight Hour Services-Component (FHS-C), a material and maintenance service of Airbus, in order to support the A350 fleet’s maintenance requirements.
