East Central Railway’s Dhanbad rail division achieves the highest freight loading of 125.95 mt during April- November 2024 

East Central Railway’s (ECR’s) Dhanbad rail division has achieved the highest cumulative freight loading of 125.95 million tonnes (mt), during April-November 2024, amongst all the railway divisions. Moreover, it also generated the highest freight revenue of Rs 167.91 billion during April-November 2024.

Besides, during the same period, Indian Railways (IR) recorded freight loading of 122.06 mt from the Bilaspur rail division under the South East Central Railway (SECR) zone, 104.83 mt from the Khurda road rail division under the East Coast Railway (ECoR) zone, and 101.82 mt from Chakradharpur rail division under the South Eastern Railway (SER) zone, among others.
