Laxmi Civil Engineering Services Private Limited has won a contract worth Rs 3.44 billion for construction of underground sewage (UGS) network in Solapur, Maharashtra under the Maharashtra Suvarna Jayanti Nagrotthan Maha-Abhiyan. Bids for the same were invited by the Solapur Municipal Corporation in June 2024. The scope of work includes construction of a 207.59 km long sewerage network, sewerage rising main, three sewage pumping stations (SPS), sewage treatment plant (STP) having a capacity of 49 million litres per day (mld), sewage pumping machinery, geo-tagging for STP and other related works. The work will be completed in two years.
