DPR and comprehensive mobility plan for Hyderabad metro phase-II in Telangana submitted to MoHUA

The detailed project report (DPR) and the comprehensive mobility plan for the Hyderabad metro rail project phase-II has been submitted to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA).

Besides, 40 km corridor IX (Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA)-Fourth City) entailing an investment of Rs 80 billion has been put on hold.

Additionally, the work on the remaining five corridors is likely to begin by early 2025.

The project involves development of the second phase of the metro network in Hyderabad in Telangana. It spans 76.4 km and has 54 stations in total in five corridors. The project is likely to entail an investment of Rs 242.69 billion.
