East Central Railway has completed about 31 per cent work on the north side of the main station building of the redevelopment of the Muzaffarpur railway station project.
Moreover, 33 per cent of the work on arrival and departure blocks and 39 per cent of work on an elevated road of the new station building has been completed. The entire project is expected to be completed by March 2026.
The project involves major upgradation of the Muzaffarpur railway station in Bihar at an estimated cost of Rs 4.42 billion.
