South East Central Railway (SECR) has implemented the electronic interlocking (EI) system at 159 stations, which includes Nagpur, Bilaspur and Raipur divisions. The EI system can be integrated with KAVACH and an automatic signalling system to enhance the train’s safety.
Besides, SECR has planned to install this system at 22 more stations by March 2025.
