The Kota Development Authority has transferred about 440.64 hectares of land to the Airports Authority of India (AAI) under the Kota Greenfield Airport project.
The project involves the development of a greenfield airport in Kota in Rajasthan. It will be developed on 1,005 acres of land with a 3,200 m long runway and a terminal building spread across 20,000 sq m along with seven parking lots, 14 check-in counters and two conveyor belts. It is likely to cater to a capacity of 2 million passengers per annum.
