Plans for new RRTS corridor linking Gurugram and Greater Noida underway

The National Capital Region (NCR) is poised for a significant transportation enhancement with the upcoming Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS), which will connect Gurugram and Greater Noida.

Spanning 60-kilometre, the corridor will link Rajiv Chowk in Gurugram to Noida Sector-142 and Surajpur in Greater Noida, with a stop at Bata Chowk in Faridabad. The project includes eight intermediate stations and is estimated to cost around Rs 150 billion, aiming to alleviate traffic congestion and mitigate air pollution in the region.

Further, there are plans to link Indira Gandhi International Airport with key locations in the NCR, including Gurugram, Faridabad, and Jewar Airport, through the RRTS network.
